Thousands of people have made their way to Download Festival at Donington Park for the much-anticipated rock event. Early bird fans headed to the site on Wednesday (June 8), to secure the best camping spots, and many more piled in for the weekend of music which began on Friday (June 10), the evening headlined by KISS.
Fans travelling to the festival by car are told to follow road signs, not sat navs. Many have already piled into the site and the West car park filled up on Wednesday.
KISS took to the stage on Friday night in front of thousands of fans and Iron Maiden are set to do the same later on Saturday. In other Download news, some flights have been diverted from East Midlands Airport in recent days following reports of drone sightings at Donington Park.
Police have also upped patrols in the area. We will keep you updated in this blog with all traffic and travel news as well as sharing guides and photos from the event itself.
