Jet2 has announced another update as travel gets busier, with many people planning trips for the summer and beyond.
In recent months, the travel provider has responded to “strong demand” for flights and holidays. On Tuesday, Jet2 announced more routes and new destinations for summer 2023 from a number of UK airports.
It comes after the tour operator added thousands of extra holidays and flight seats to Crete earlier this year. Extra routes were also created to link a number of UK airports to resorts in Spain, Turkey and Portugal.
Almost 6,000 extra seats have now been added to Malta, from four UK airports. Jet2 said: “On the back of very strong demand from holidaymakers looking to enjoy some winter sunshine, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have extended the season to Malta, with flights operating in the winter period from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and London Stansted Airports for the first time since Winter 19/20.”
In addition, the companies have also extended the season to Malta from Manchester Airport.
The additional services are as follows:
- Monday services extended to November 28, and restarting from February 13, 2023.
- Wednesday services now operating from March 1, 2021.
- Thursday services extended until November 24 and restarting from February 16, 2023
- Thursday services extended to November 17 and restarting from March 2, 2023 onwards.
